Parks and Recreation Celebrates 100 Year Anniversary

The City of Oakland’s Office of Parks and Recreation, is very excited to be celebrating 100 Years of Creating Community through Families, Programs and Services. To celebrate, OPR is hosting an Old Fashion Community Celebration at DeFremery Park on July 25, 2009. Activities include access to the pool, food vendors, crafts, music and performances by local artists and recreation performing arts programs, and a 3-on-3 basketball tournament.
