Pope Benedict XVI embraces Tweeter...



Pope Benedict XVI has urged churches to Tweet, Facebook, YouTube, Blog… embrace the new technologies.

In his message Pope Benedict told Catholic priests that "Church communities have always used the modern media" and just putting up a website is not enough. New technologies are a resource for the faith.
Pope Benedict stated that priest should “proclaim the Gospel by employing the latest generation of audiovisual resources (images, videos, animated features, blogs, websites) which, alongside traditional means, can open up broad new vistas for dialogue, evangelization and catechesis."
